Shared Horizons was created to manage funds for individuals with disabilities who receive Supplemental Security Income, Medicaid, and subsidized (HUD) housing.
Once funds are transferred to the Trust, and as long as we follow benefit disbursement guidelines, the funds held in the Special Needs Trust will not be counted when determining public benefit eligibility.
